This week, Pastor Wes walks us through Ezra 3–4, where the people of Israel begin rebuilding the temple and quickly face opposition. They restore worship, lay the foundation of the temple, and celebrate what God is doing, but resistance soon rises against the work. Their enemies attempt to discourage them, create fear, and eventually bring the rebuilding to a stop. These chapters remind us that following God does not mean we will avoid opposition, obedience often requires perseverance, and we can remain faithful even when progress feels slow or difficult.
