God Is In the Details

This week, Pastor Jim walks us through 1 Samuel 9–12, where we see God raise up Saul as Israel’s first king. Saul begins as an unlikely choice—a humble man from a small tribe whom God sets apart for leadership. Even though the people asked for a king instead of trusting the Lord, God still worked through their request and faithfully guided the process. Samuel reminds the people that their true security doesn’t come from a human leader, but from fearing the Lord and walking in His ways. The passage challenges us to remain faithful to God, trusting Him as our true King.
